I have more big news! We’ve landed yet another key endorsement for our campaign for Long Beach City Council District 2!

Los Angeles County Supervisor Janice Hahn has thrown her support behind us!

In announcing her endorsement, Supervisor Janice Hahn stated:

“I’m excited to endorse Cindy Allen for the Long Beach City Council. She’s been a community leader for over 30 years and I know she will stand up for workers, small businesses, and our public safety officers. I’m on team Allen!”

Cindy Allen had this to say about her most recent endorsement:

“I am thrilled to have received Janice Hahn’s endorsement. I look forward to working with Janice, community leaders and our residents to address the critical issues facing our city in a way that makes us stronger, more resilient and more unified.”

Cindy Allen grew up on the westside of Long Beach and lives with her husband of 25 years in the 2nd District. As a mother of two and a breast cancer survivor, Cindy has a first-hand appreciation for why health access in general and women’s health access in particular are so important.

Cindy’s story is one of overcoming the odds and distinguishing herself time and again through perseverance, tenacity and hard work. An eternal optimist, Cindy served with distinction on the Long Beach Police Department before an injury ended her career in Public Safety. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master’s in Public Administration and has been a successful entrepreneur and small business owner.
