I wanted to share a big update about our campaign!

We’ve been officially endorsed by Mayor Robert Garcia in our race for Long Beach City Council, District 2!

I am so grateful to receive the Mayor’s endorsement. As a Councilmember, I will bring my experience as a public safety officer to keep our neighborhoods safe and work to end street homelessness through partnerships and compassion.

Cindy Allen grew up on the westside of Long Beach and lives with her husband of 25 years in the 2nd District. As a mother of two and a breast cancer survivor, Cindy has a first-hand appreciation for why health access and women’s health access in particular are so important.

Cindy’s story is one of overcoming the odds and distinguishing herself through perseverance, tenacity and hard work. An eternal optimist, Cindy served with distinction on the Long Beach Police Department before an injury ended her career in Public Safety. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master’s degree in Public Administration and has been a successful entrepreneur and small business owner.
