Long Beach City Councilmember Suzie Price Endorses Cindy Allen for City Council

Today, Cindy Allen, a former small business owner and long-time community leader announces the endorsement of Long Beach City Councilmember Suzie Price.

In announcing her endorsement, Councilmember Price released the following statement: “I've known Cindy Allen for many years and I've seen her give back countlessly to her community throughout this time. As a former police officer, she knows the critical issues facing the Second District and she has a plan in place to tackle them. She's a tenacious community advocate and has a deep understanding of all facets of the community. I strongly endorse her for City Council."

Cindy Allen had this to say about her most recent endorsement:
“This is an amazing endorsement for my campaign. I couldn't be happier about receiving Councilmember Price's endorsement. She is a true collaborator in the City who knows how to bring together groups from all sides to find responsible solutions. I'm more than thankful for having her support."
Cindy Allen grew up on the westside of Long Beach and lives with her husband of 25 years in the 2nd District. As a mother of two and a breast cancer survivor, Cindy has a first-hand appreciation for why health access in general and women’s health access in particular are so important.
Cindy’s story is one of overcoming the odds and distinguishing herself time and again through perseverance, tenacity and hard work. An eternal optimist, Cindy served with distinction on the Long Beach Police Department before an injury ended her career in Public Safety. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Management and a Master’s in Public Administration and has been a successful entrepreneur and small business owner.
