I am proud to receive the endorsement of the Long Beach Chamber of Commerce and the Los Angeles Business Federation (BizFed).
Helping businesses is important to me, and I want to make sure that they have all the resources available to navigate through these uncertain times. I will advocate for the most economically flexible and robust policies so that people can safely get back to work. This will take courage to lead through this economic recovery, and I have shown that I have the experience to help businesses thrive, which is why Supervisor Janice Hahn recently reappointed me to the Los Angeles County Small Business Commission.
Jeremy Harris, President & CEO of the Long Beach Area Chamber of Commerce released the following statement on the endorsement:
"Cindy Allen is the ideal candidate who is uniquely positioned to work with both business and labor. As a former small business owner and Chamber board member, Cindy is uniquely positioned to support and improve the business climate throughout Long Beach. Cindy's experience and collaborative spirit are what our City and businesses need during this challenging time."
LA BizFed President De'Andre Valencia also commented:
“We are proud to endorse Cindy Allen as we know that she will be a catalyst for a stronger economy in LA County and for Long Beach. We also know here at BizFed PAC that we can engage Cindy in substantive dialogue in developing and implementing solutions that encourage local investment and job growth. Cindy has started several small businesses in downtown Long Beach and we know she has the work experience and life experience to help the residents and businesses in the District 2."
