I am truly overjoyed to receive the endorsement from the Los Angeles County Democratic Party.
As a child whose mom needed government assistance to make ends meet, I am personally committed to helping our most marginalized communities. As a breast cancer survivor, I understand the importance of women’s access to quality health care. I pledge to also be a strong voice for our LGBTQ community, and support women's rights in the workplace.
Because of my personal experiences, I strongly believe in helping others like I was helped. I’m committed to always upholding the Democratic principles that give our community equal opportunities to have a better life.
